I am an integrative counsellor, drawing from a range of therapeutic interventions to provide a type of support that goes to the heart of your issues, whatever they may be. While the present moment may be the only place where we can truly focus our energies, the past continues to inform how we think, feel, and behave, and it needs to be addressed in order for us to genuinely move forward. Our work, therefore, will be about curiously and compassionately engaging with the obstacles that are preventing you from being your truly authentic self.

My Counselling Approach


The first step of our work together is to develop trust and comfort in the working relationship between us. Therapy cannot develop and flourish without it. Making sure that you feel safe, listened to, and understood is my main priority, as this is necessary for making any progress. Beyond having a relationship that is strong, however, I actively use the dynamic that develops between us as a route through which to understand how you relate to yourself, other people, and the wider world more broadly. My mission is to remove the stigma of seeing a therapist because I am Passionate about the powerful and lasting change therapy can bring to people’s lives.


Every individual is different, and no problem is exactly the same, nor is there a single theory or psychological intervention that is suitable for every client, so I am careful to come up with a bespoke approach – one that looks at your life as a whole and works specifically for you. Depending on your needs, I will use techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, or CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). We will engage with both what’s going on now as well as your unresolved past – in particular how early relationships inform the way you feel in the here and now. While an ‘issue’ is what brings many people to seek therapy, curiosity to learn more about oneself and a desire to grow is really the key to how I work with my clients.

Whether you are going through depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, or some other issue, I will work with you to devise a therapeutic roadmap that allows us to properly explore this issue and bring you to a better place.
